Sensores neumáticos de alta precisión para medición de distancias micrométricas

Un sensor de medición de espacios comprendidos entre 20 y 200 micras para detectar principalmente el correcto pisicionamiento de piezas. Se distingue por su gran repetibilidad. Se diferencia de otros sensores por la posibilidad de integrarse con una unidad de control, permitiendo así el ahorro de aire o la posibilidad de realizar un soplado de limpieza de los puntos de medida. La unidad de control dispone de un regulador de presión interno que permite prescindir de elementos externos con el consiguiente ahorro de costes y tiempos de montaje.

Transmisor de posiciones SMAT-8M

El SMAT-8M para ranura en T, queda enrasado en la ranura del cilindro, sin partes salientes. Es realmente compacto y ligero. Capaz de medir un recorrido de hasta 40mm con un cuerpo que mide tan solo 30mm. Además es posible escalar la señal analógica para un recorrido menor, óptimo para aplicaciones donde hay actuadores de carreras cortas, actuadores de giro, pinzas y allí donde los émbolos recorren unos pocos milímetros.

Pneumatic Rodless Linear Actuator OSP-L gives Reliable Operation Down to -40°C

Parker Origa have added the new OSP-L rodless linear actuator to their OSP-P family. The new OSP-L series has been designed to cover applications that require very low leakage and protection against outside contamination. Consequently the new OSP-L has been equipped with a high tech PU inner tape to guarantee excellent low leakage values whereas the outer steel tape reliable prevents contamination from outside. The OSP-L’s aluminium profile is fully compatible with the renowned OSP-P range and allows all their modular system components to be used. The latest special OSP-L version has been designed to be used in outdoor applications at temperatures down to -40° Celsius.

It is the combination of a PU inner tape with a steel outer tape that make the OSP-L so unique: Not only stands the OSP-L for lowest leakage values, it also prevents outside contamination from penetrating inside most reliably. Just like the renowned ORIGA OSP-P series, the OSP-L offers remarkably low wear and can do up to 8,000 km before any maintenance is required.

The basic OSP-L model already features an inner plain bearing guide. However, depending on the particular application requirements, the OSP-L can also be fitted with the SLIDELINE external sliding guide or the STARLINE external recirculating linear ball bearing guide. As with the already proven OSP-P series, the new OSP-L series is lightweight with a flat layout and features an easy to install single-side air connection as well as optional integration of 3/2-way directional control valves.

The range of accessories also includes clevis and inverse-mounted carriages. In addition, duplex and multiplex connections of multiple linear drives are possible. A wide range of fasteners can be easily and flexibly mounted to the OSP-L in a variety of positions. In conjunction with the standard magnetic piston, the easy to install relay switches and the variable mechanical stops, any number of stop positions can be reliably used and monitored.

Save energy and enhance flexibility with Parker’s latest electro-pneumatic pressure regulators

Parker Hannifin, the global leader in motion and control technologies, has launched its latest range of remote controlled electro-pneumatic pressure regulators to provide flexibility, precision and energy savings in a wide range of manufacturing applications. The new EPP4 Comfort models have been designed to enhance the performance and reliability of machinery within the production environment, including welding, paper and printing and machine tool robots, as well as on trucks and trains for the control of adaptive suspensions.

Featuring a compact and lightweight construction, the new 1” and 2” EPP4 Comfort models have been specifically developed for quick and easy installation and low inertia on moving robots. Using an integrated electronic control system and pulse width modulated solenoid valves, the new units control the output pressure proportionally to an analogue electrical signal, while high precision is achieved by an internal feedback through an integral pressure sensor. As a result, control systems can be simplified dramatically through the reduced number of components, while productivity is improved through the greater degree of flexibility.

The new EPP4 Comfort range boasts extremely fast response times, excellent linearity and low hysteresis of 0.5% for the accurate and fast adjustment of the controlled pressure, significantly increasing production efficiency. Power consumption is also notably low, requiring a maximum only 6W, enabling simple integration into standard installations, and as no air is used when there is no change of control signal, energy and cost savings can be achieved still further.

The flexible and easily mounted EPP4 Comfort regulators feature plug and play functions to provide simple tools for setups and monitoring using standard PC software, which enables the user to set all the relevant parameters of the units quickly and simply, both on and off site. Additionally, the remote display enables users to read the regulated pressure wherever the application requires it and the large, high clarity LED digits make reading faster and easier.

The EPP4 Comfort 1” & 2” pressure regulators are available for control by either a voltage or current analogue control signal, offering either analogue or digital outputs, and are adjustable to meet the specific parameters of each application. As with all Parker products, these new models are backed by the company’s global network of manufacturing, sales and customer support centres.

Updated VF 1000/5000 valves bring improved operating performance

Following the success of our popular Series VF1000/5000 solenoid valves, our R&D engineers have recently taken the opportunity to update this range of 5 port valves by improving their durability, reducing their power consumption and also lowering their operating noise. Designed for automotive and general machinery applications these improved valves are still fully interchangeable with existing VF manifolds. With the introduction of a V200 pilot valve, power consumption of the standard valve has been reduced to 1.55W from1.8W and when specified with an energy saving circuit, the consumption falls to only 0.55W. Noise levels have been dramatically reduced thanks to the introduction of an in-built wave rectifier, potential problems of unwanted foreign matter entering the valves have been addressed with the addition of an in-built strainer and ozone resistant HBNR seal material has been added to overcome any possible build up of ozone in the compressed air system.

Improved digital flow switch now provides the perfect water monitoring solution

Applications requiring a constantly monitored flow of cooling or cleaning water, at temperatures of up to 90ºC, now have the perfect solution with the launch of our new Series PF3W Digital Flow Switch. Developed following the success of our PF2W flow switch range, our R&D engineers have now taken these flow switches to a new level by improving both their design and operating performance. Depending on the selected model, the new Series PF3W is now up to 40% smaller in volume thereby offering improved piping space and flexibility and thanks to their in-built temperature sensor; both flow and fluid temperature can be effectively monitored at the same time. Tests have confirmed that pressure losses have been reduced when compared to our previous model and these new PF3W´s can also be used with ethylene glycol operating fluid making these switches ideal for use in chiller type applications. Further design improvements include the addition of two screens incorporating three colour numerical displays which can also be rotated in both clockwise and anti-clockwise directions thereby offering even better display visibility during operation. Available as non grease type and with analogue output if required, our new Series PF3W is RoHS and CE compliant and meets IP 65 enclosure protection standards.

LS04 pneumatic valve series

The new LS04 pneumatic valve series from Rexroth sets itself apart with small dimensions of only ten millimeters wide and a flow rate of 200 l/min up to a maximum of 330 l/min. Thus, this series exactly fits the requirements for most applications in the electronics industry, as well as for numerous handling tasks. With the LS04, Rexroth has rounded out its range of pneumatic valves with high levels of function and reliability. With the LS04 version SW (Single Wiring) Rexroth is expanding its versatile family concept for the pneumatic valve terminal system LS04. It provides a cost-effective, fast and simple electrical connection via single wiring. Particularly on configurations with less than six valve positions, the single wiring connection results in a reduction of costs and assembly time, since no tools, multiple plugs or special connectors are needed for installation.

ED02 pressure regulator

The electro-pneumatic ED02 pressure regulator from Rexroth offers high accuracy and dynamics. Combined with its compact design, it performs well in a very wide range of applications. High dynamics with small dimensions: this is possible with ED02 pressure regulators with compact dimensions of only 76x60x30 mm. Thanks to a construction with two directly-controlled 2/2-way proporcional valves, a dynamic is attained with an air flow of 100 l/min (3.5 SCFM) that is only possible with larger nominal widths in other units. Exact regulation controlled by a microprocessor is an additional feature of the new pressure regulator. Here, the ED02 provides repetitive precision of 30 mbar (0.44 psi) and excellent values with a hysteresis of 50 mbar (0.73 psi). Four ED02 series pressure regulators can be linked to each other without a base plate. Compressed air supply is possible from both sides, permitting extremely flexible use in a system.
